Diemen neighborhood #

Diemen is the small city where we live. It's actually surrounded by Amsterdam from all sides except the south-east. It's 25 minutes by bike or by public transport from the city center.

Sightseeing #

This is our favorite rural bike tour starting from Diemen with canals, windmills, cows and farms. Take some cash with you in case you wish to buy some eggs or cheese from the farmers.

Diemen Market (Diemer Markt): Open Wednesdays and Saturdays between 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM at Diemerplein. This small market features cheeses, vegetables, fruits, meat, and fish.

• Spar: Smallest, priciest, but closest, 2 minute walk.
